The Green Mile

A story with supernatural elements that takes place on death row in a Southern prison. The main character, John Coffey, is a gentle giant who possesses the ability to heal illnesses. The head guard, Paul Edgecomb, becomes aware of Coffey's miraculous powers and desperately tries to prevent his execution.
